Stories

“Writing on our hearts” is more than just a blog, we are an online community of Christians who share how God’s word has changed our hearts and our lives, especially through meditation, study, and memorization.

Please write us! We’d love to hear what God has written on your heart and how it has ministered to you!

Sometimes, a scripture verse will come to mind at just the right time and in a way that is undeniably God speaking to our hearts. If this has happened to you, please send us your story via email to: devotional@keywicards.com

At other times, the Holy Spirit brings to mind God's word while we are sharing our faith. This happened to me in an unexpected way when I was talking with a friend in Spanish. You can read more about it here: Isaias 53:4-6

Sometimes we give away God's word and something special happens. Read how I gave away one of my first "keywis" to a fellow believer in Costa Rica here: The Keywi Goes to Costa Rica

April - May Prayer Letter 2014

Dear friends and family, I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend.  Praise God, Jesus is risen indeed!   I just wanted to share a few updates and  prayer  requests for the  Keywi  Card project: Please  pray  for the t rade show in Atlanta, Georgia! This June 22-25,  Keywi  Cards will be exhibiting at the International Christian Retail Show in Atlanta, Georgia ( http://christianretailshow. com/ ).   Nearly every major Christian bookstore retailer and distributor will be there along with many well-know Christian authors and speakers.  A s you can imagine, preparations for this show are quite extensive and I have often felt stressed and overwhelmed over the last few weeks.   I could really use  prayer  for balance, guidance, wisdom, and time management.   There are so many things that still need to be accomplished in a short period of time.  I'm making a catalog, designing hang tags and UPC ...

God - The Big Perspective

“ in the beginning, God …” (Genesis 1:1, NIV) God is The singular reality. God alone began and sustains all existence. He is forever the great “I am.” He is all of history’s “unmoved mover.” Any understanding of reality not rooted in our personal Creator is fundamentally in error. Trusting in one’s own mental reasoning and the reliability of sensing and understanding the outside world necessarily assumes a reliable and rational Creator. In short, in order to trust in and use our very minds, we must believe in and trust in our Creator and therefore acknowledge our place as created beings. The source of truth and of life does not begin with us or with any of our predecessors. Just as the daylight for which we daily depend radiates from the sun, so does life and truth radiate from God, its singular source. The only means for vision is light. The only means for understanding reality is God’s very revelation to us in His Word. Any other source of illumination ...
